About Me:

My Partner and I

My background in aviation and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) is relatively recent, stemming mainly from courses taken at Purdue. As a kid I was always very interested in aircraft from WWI-WWII, which progressed to an interest in Aerospace. This didn’t really stem into a possible career until high school when I went on aviation day trips with my physics classes. After the second aviation day trip I decided that I would apply to Purdue for Aerospace engineering, but I didn’t get accepted into that program. After that I began looking into other similar programs, which is where I found out about Purdue’s UAS program. After attending Purdue I began to have an interest in the more mechanical side of aviation, especially electronics, which led to my decision to pursue a second bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering Technology (AET). I am now in my third year at Purdue, and hope to graduate at a normal pace, but may stay a bit longer. Outside of school I have a decent variety of work experience for someone my age. I have worked in food service, emergency services, and a variety of blue collar work. From this variety of work I have learned skills that have aided me in my hands on schoolwork at Purdue. If you are interested in any more information about me, I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
